TO: The Kingsborough College Campus Community FROM: Public Safety Department RE: Campus shooting in Oregon _____________________________________________________________ Earlier today, a campus shooting was reported at Umpqua Community College in Oregon resulting in many injuries, along with a number of fatalities which included the alleged shooter. This appears to be an isolated incident, and no threats have been received by Kingsborough Community College. Kingsborough Public Safety Department has elevated its alert status on campus in response to alleviate any concerns of the faculty, staff, and students. ALL campus personnel are requested to report any suspicious activity to the Public Safety Office immediately by calling X-7777 from any campus phone, or from any landline or cell phone at (718) 368-4995.
