What if the college I attended was not one of the cooperating senior colleges -
can I still be in New Start?
Only students from the cooperating senior colleges listed above are eligible for the New Start program. However, students from other colleges may apply to Kingsborough as regular transfers. Contact the Academic Village Center at 718-368-6700 for admission information.
What if I attended Kingsborough before?
If you were enrolled at Kingsborough during any time after high school (except on permit), DO NOT apply for the New Start program. Instead, you must file an application for readmission in the Registrar's Office (Room A-101). If you attended a senior college after attending KCC, you can apply for transfer of your senior college credit after you are readmitted.
Please visit the following website for readmission information and deadlines: Registrar: Readmission Info.
Will I still be eligible for New Start if I wait until next semester or some other future time to enroll?
Yes. There is no time limit on eligibility. Call the Academic Village Center at 718-368-6700 when you are ready to apply (please be mindful of application deadlines).
