Hello Campus Community, 

Earlier today, we received notification of positive COVID-19 case with a staff person here at Kingsborough Community College. 

The staff person self-reported and the last time they were on campus was July 13, 2021.  When last on campus, the staff person was asymptomatic and all safety protocols were observed including wearing proper masks. The staff person is recovering at home and we wish them well.  We have notified the impacted parties to give them proper instructions as per the Department of Health on how to quarantine. 

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to practice social distancing, mask-wearing, and good handwashing and sanitizing hygiene. As always, any person who develops symptoms of should contact their health care provider.
