Dear College Community,

We received notification that a staff person has positive for COVID-19 here at Kingsborough Community College.

When last on campus, the staff person was asymptomatic and all safety protocols were observed including wearing proper masks as well as maintaining proper social distance. The staff person is recovering at home and we wish them well. We have notified all impacted parties to give them proper instructions as per the Department of Health on how to quarantine.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to practice social distancing, mask-wearing, and good hand washing and sanitizing hygiene. As always, any person who develops symptoms of should contact their health care provider.
