Subject: High Importance: COVID-19 Positive Case - Student

Hello Campus Community, 

Earlier today, we received notification of positive COVID-19 case with a student here at Kingsborough Community College. 

The student self-reported and the last time they were on campus was March 15, 2021in the M building.  When last on campus, the student was asymptomatic and all safety protocols were observed including wearing proper masks. The student is recovering at home and we wish them well.  We have notified the impacted parties to give them proper instructions as per the Department of Health on how to quarantine. 

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to practice social distancing, mask-wearing, and good handwashing and sanitizing hygiene. As always, any person who develops symptoms of should contact their health care provider.
