2025 Making Work Visible

This contest is about work and workers. Written entries need to include a link to an illustration (there are many choices). Keep in mind that paid work and labor unions are only part of the story—entries about unpaid work, immigration, family, and community are also encouraged.

American Industries Scholarship

Children of Injured Workers Scholarship

We are Hoggatt Law Office, P.C., a personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm in northern Colorado, and we are offering a scholarship in the amount of $1,000. The Hoggatt Injury Law Children of Injured Workers Scholarship offers this award to a student whose parent has been injured or killed in a work-related accident. We are excited about bringing this opportunity to the attention of students in need, and we hope you will share it with your students.

Hope and Opportunity Scholarship

The Hope and Opportunity Scholarship will award $1,500 to a student who grew up in foster care and is now pursuing a college degree.

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants spent a portion or entirety of their childhood in the foster care system.
  • Applicants should be pursuing either an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university within the United States.

Hope for Humanity Scholarship

The Estevez Group, PC would like to share our scholarship program with you in hopes that you pass this opportunity along to your students. We have created the Hope for Humanity Scholarship to give back to students who have collaborated with nonprofit organizations.

To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Applicants should be actively pursuing an internship or research opportunities with a non-profit organization.
  • Applicants should demonstrate a history of commitment to human rights through prior academic work, volunteer experience, or activism.

Justice in Family Law Scholarship
