Cost and Financial Aid

KCC offers an affordable quality education, taught by outstanding faculty and industry professionals at affordable tuition. You don’t have to break the bank to make your dreams come true! Our Financial Aid Office offers financial aid programs and services to help students meet their educational costs. 

Special Programs

KCC offers a variety of special academic support programs designed for students with particular academic interests or backgrounds. Our supportive academic environment can take you from dreaming to doing! 

Defer your Acceptance (Reactivate)

If you were accepted to Kingsborough Community College but were not able to attend, you can defer your acceptance and reactivate your application for up to one semester (for example, you were accepted for the fall semester and did not attend.  You can now reactivate your fall application for the spring semester).  To defer your acceptance and reactivate your application, click here

New Start

The New Start program is designed to assist students who have had academic difficulty at cooperating senior colleges.  Learn how KCC can support you and get you back on track to academic success in our New Start program.

Second Degree Students

Students who have graduated from KCC and are looking to apply for a second-degree program should file a new admissions application.

Residency Information and Application

To qualify for CUNY New York City tuition rates, students must prove one (1) year of residency in New York City prior to the first day of classes and must not be on a temporary visa. Students must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, refugee/asylum granted (I-94 print out) to qualify for NYC tuition rate.

Military and Veteran Affairs

The Military and Veteran Affairs Office (MAVA) serves the needs of prospective and enrolled active military personnel, Veterans, their dependents, and survivors. MAVA will be there to help you achieve your goals, and provide specialized advisement and counseling.

Athletics

At KCC, student-athletes enjoy the best of two worlds: the chance to be part of championship teams and focus on their education. They can develop their athletic skills and the academic and social skills needed to succeed in all aspects of life.
