ARTURO HUMBERTO ENAMORADO
Lecturer – Department of Behavioral Sciences
Born and raised in Jamaica Queens, Arturo Humberto Enamorado III, is a Queer, Indigenous
Asian Latinx scholar having degrees from Queensborough Community College, St. John's
University in History and anthropology, and a second graduate degree in Sociology
from The New School for social research.
Arturo has experience as a youth mentor in the DOE to BIPOC students. He has served
as a Policy Advisor for city council candidates and chief operating officer for iRock
Charities, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization out of Southeast Queens. His passion
for teaching and student-centered approaches matches the desire to understand the
structures of society that bind and separate us.
