Student Email Accounts

Student E-Mail Accounts - Official College Communication
E-Mail accounts are normally available within 72 hours after the last day of registration.

Note: If you are not currently registered for classes, you will not have an active E-Mail account.
Student E–Mail Accounts are allocated storage for up to Five Hundred (500) messages on the mail server; Messages left on the server for over 180 days will be deleted. 
Students who withdraw from all classes may also have their account suspended (and all messages on the mail server deleted). 


CLICK HERE TO ACCESS YOUR E-MAIL ACCOUNT:

AOL Users: You must use either Netscape or Internet Explorer to access your student e-mail.

Enter your USER ID (lower case) firstname.lastname


Enter your PASSWORD: Your initial PASSWORD was sent to your home at the beginning of the Semester

Click on Logon


If the Logon information is correct, your mailbox summary appears
 
TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD 
Click on Change Password (The college recommends that you change your password frequently.) If you reset your password and then forget it, you must call the Helpdesk at 718-368-6679 for assistance.
 
TO FIND OUT WHAT YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS IS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

E-Mail address = firstname.lastname@students.kbcc.cuny.edu
E-Mail password Will be sent by U.S. Mail to student's home address on file at the registrar's office
If You did not receive or lost your password notification letter:
Go to  L-105, L-106, L-107, L-108  with your College identification Card and request a replacement password. For your own protection no passwords will be changed unless you have a validated college ID.

TO FORWARD E-MAIL MESSAGES TO ANOTHER EXISTING E-MAIL ACCOUNT:
Click on Change Mail Forwarding Information

NOTE: If you change your e-mail account, you must go back to E-Mail and change the forwarding address. 
E-Mail will not automatically forward to the new account.
Check your E-Mail regularly from home or school to receive school announcements and communicate with instructors as well as other students.
