Research Interests

Equity and equality in adult education.  Understanding how dominant culture continues to play a role in K-12 education, and continues in Higher Ed.  How and why society conditions us to value one culture over another, and the importance of making radical change in this area.  Trends in Higher Ed and the importance of a diverse faculty.  Why our BIPOC students benefit from having faculty that represent them.  How to help bridge the equity gap and provide what our students need, and how learning communities can assist with this.
