Dear College Community,

I am writing to remind and encourage you to complete the Strateic Planning Survey.  The survey is indepth and it will require dedicated time and attention to complete, but it is also critical to the development of our Strategic Plan, which is the foundation of our work for the next five years.  I cannot stress enough how important the Strategic Plan is to college.  The survey will remain open until Thursday, November 5th after which time the Committee will need to commence its work in analyzing the responses.  

Your completion of the survey, comments, suggestions, strategies, and recommendations are not only welcome, but essential to the future of KCC.  

The survey  addresses three compelling challenges we face: striving for equity,  building enrollment, and providing for institutional resilience; and points towards the future in:


  • Student Success

  • Operational Excellence

  • Governance and Planning

  • Community and Communication, and

  • Workforce Development and Strategic Partnerships.

You may respond to any or all sections of the survey, and if you like, you can come back more than once to address the different sections.
